Let Us Lead is a youth-led civic organization founded in 2024 at Dartmouth College with the vision to bridge the gap between young people's passion for change and their political power. We believe democracy is strongest when every voice has the opportunity to lead, and that political empowerment should be accessible to everyone.
From the beginning, we chose to do more than advocate from the sidelines. We stepped into the electoral process, equipping young people with the knowledge, training, and opportunities to create meaningful change through civic engagement. We believe that when young people are trusted with responsibility and given the right resources, they can transform their communities and strengthen our democracy.
Today, Let Us Lead has grown from a small group of students into a national movement of emerging leaders. We empower local leaders to identify the challenges facing their own communities and develop solutions that reflect their unique experiences. Through fellowships and civic initiative programs, we equip the next generation of advocates with skills in community organizing, political advocacy, and civic engagement. By putting young people at the center of decision-making, we ensure our work remains authentic, community-driven, and impactful.
The future is asking for leaders. We are here to answer.
2025 Goals & Achievements
In 2025, Let Us Lead has set ambitious goals to grow our impact: expanding to three states, reaching 17 campuses, graduating 100 fellows, building a social media following of 1,000, and establishing 501(c)(3) operations.
We’re proud to share that we exceeded every single target:
128 Fellows graduated, surpassing our goal of 100
10 states, 17 in-person campus cohorts, plus 6 pilot campuses
2,946 new followers across Let Us Lead’s Instagram accounts
This year’s accomplishments reflect the dedication of our young leaders and the strength of our growing community. We’re excited to continue building on this momentum in 2026!
