Let Us Lead was founded in 2024 at Dartmouth College to bridge the widening gap between youth agency and political power. We began as a passionate community of student leaders rooted in the principles of civic justice, united by a singular, bold conviction: that political empowerment must be accessible to all, not just a privileged few.

When deciding how to best contribute to the democratic process, we didn’t start on the sidelines—we took on elections head-first. This ambitious approach wasn't just a trial; it was a triumph. By successfully navigating the complexities of the electoral landscape, we demonstrated a fundamental truth: when young people are given access to high-level training and strategic resources, they have the power to drive systemic change in massive ways.

Today, Let Us Lead has evolved from a local initiative into a rapidly scaling national movement. We reject "one-size-fits-all" activism. Instead, our model is intentionally flexible, designed to navigate community engagement through the eyes of the leaders who live there. We build strategies with our cohorts, not just for them, ensuring that our impact is as authentic as it is effective.
